Workshop Objectives: After the session, participants will be able to:
- Discuss how creativity is good for the brain from a neuroscience perspective to be adapted in play therapy activities.
- Describe why and how expressive arts are integrated within play therapy.
- Determine at least three therapeutic powers of play that are enacted via creative activities and expressive arts in play
therapy. - Utilize at least three creative/expressive activities that can be included in play therapy using common household
supplies and/or items from nature.
